Empowering Birth with Clinical Hypnosis
As a mom of two, I know both the beauty and intensity of childbirth. That’s why I offer a powerful, research-backed approach to birth preparation: clinical hypnosis using the Machenberg Method, including the unique Hypno-Epidural technique. These sessions go far beyond simple relaxation—they help you train your mind, reduce fear, and gain real tools to support your body during labor.
Why Choose the Machenberg Method?
-
✅ Learn self-hypnosis for deep calm and control
-
✅ Activate hypnoanesthesia to reduce pain perception
-
✅ Use mental anchors like “OFF” and “MIDDLE” to trigger comfort instantly
-
✅ Involve your birth partner as an active support person
-
✅ Feel prepared for any kind of birth—natural, induced, or cesarean
This method is flexible, empowering, and deeply practical.
When to Start?
To fully benefit from the five-session process, timing matters.
-
First-time moms: Start between week 30–32
-
Experienced moms: Begin around week 28
-
Moms expecting multiples: Start as early as week 25
We want to complete the final session before labor begins, and since due dates are only estimates, starting early gives you the space to prepare calmly and confidently.
What to Expect
Each session builds on the last and includes:
-
Relaxation and confidence-building techniques
-
Hypnoanesthesia training (with a proven “pinch test”)
-
Hypno-Epidural practice—directing comfort to where it’s needed
-
Visualization, breathwork, and emotional clearing
-
Birth partner training (sessions 4 & 5)
-
Custom recordings to practice at home
You’ll walk away with a toolbox you can rely on—before, during, and even after birth.

-
❤️ Improve bonding and reduce postpartum recovery time
"In one study, only 23% of hypnobirthing clients requested an epidural—compared to 76% in the control group."

What My Clients Say
“Six weeks before my due date, I was terrified. Just thinking about labor made me panic. A friend recommended Kristin, and it was the best decision I could’ve made. The moment I used the 'MIDDLE' anchor during labor, my whole body relaxed. I felt calm, clear, and in control. I’ll never forget that feeling.”

What is a Hypno-Epidural?
*The Hypno-Epidural is a mental technique that allows you to direct comfort to your lower body during labor. By visualizing the word “MIDDLE” and using deep hypnosis, your brain creates a focused area of hypnoanesthesia—similar to what a medical epidural does, but from the inside out. With consistent practice, this becomes an automatic response when labor begins.
** In hypnotherapy, an anchor is a psychological trigger used to evoke a specific emotional, mental, or physical state. Anchors are typically associated with sensory stimuli (e.g., touch, sound, or visual cues) and are created through the process of classical conditioning. Once established, an anchor can help individuals access desired states of relaxation, confidence, or motivation, often almost instantly.
